1. Scope and controller
This policy covers Black Vault websites, checkout, trader identities, dashboards, Arena, support, and evaluation services. It does not govern an independent provider’s own website or service.
The Black Vault Funding is operated by The Black Vault funding Inc. (“Black Vault,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). Registered office: c/o Registered Agents Inc., 202 N Cedar Ave, Suite 1, Owatonna, Minnesota 55060-2306, United States. Support: [email protected]. Legal notices: [email protected].
2. Information we collect
- Identity and contact data, including name, email, address, date of birth where required, and durable trader identifier.
- Authentication data, including federated sign-in identifiers, verification status, session and security events. Black Vault does not receive your Google password.
- Purchase data, including selected product, price, tax, affiliate or promo code, terms acceptance, market-data classification, payment status, receipt, and limited payment metadata. Card data should be tokenized by the payment provider rather than stored by Black Vault.
- Trading and account data, including provider account identifiers, simulated orders, fills, positions, balances, rule metrics, resets, upgrades, rewards, and lifecycle events.
- Technical data, including IP address, device and browser information, cookies, logs, approximate location, referral source, and fraud signals.
- Communications, support records, profile and avatar content, and records you choose to provide.
3. Why we use information
We use data to create and link your trader identity; authenticate and secure access; preserve a selected product through checkout; classify market-data status; process and document orders; deliver evaluations, resets, dashboards, Arena matches, and eligible rewards; enforce rules; prevent fraud and abuse; provide support; maintain records; measure site reliability; comply with law; and send optional marketing only when permitted.
4. Sources and sharing
We receive data from you, your device, identity providers, payment providers, simulation and market-data providers, affiliates you use, fraud-prevention vendors, and public or lawful compliance sources. We share only what is reasonably necessary with processors supporting identity, cloud hosting, email, payments, market data, simulation, analytics, moderation, customer support, professional advisers, and lawful requests. We do not sell personal data for money.
5. Cookies and analytics
We use essential cookies for security, session continuity, checkout, and preferences. Optional analytics or advertising technologies, if enabled, are described in the Cookie and Analytics Notice and offered with legally required controls.
6. Retention
We keep data only as long as reasonably needed for the purposes above. Typical periods may differ: active identity and account records for the relationship; financial, tax, consent, and dispute records for required legal periods; security logs for a limited risk-management period; and deleted profile content until backups cycle out. We may retain a minimal suppression record to honor an opt-out and records needed to establish, exercise, or defend legal claims.
7. Security
We use access controls, encryption in transit, secrets management, logging, least-privilege administration, and provider oversight appropriate to the service. No system is perfectly secure. Contact [email protected] if you believe your account or data is at risk.
8. Your choices and rights
Depending on your location, you may request access, correction, deletion, portability, or a copy of personal data; withdraw consent; object to or restrict certain processing; opt out of targeted advertising, sale, or profiling where applicable; and appeal a denied privacy request. We will verify requests and may retain data when law or a valid exception permits. Submit a request to [email protected]. Authorized agents may submit requests where law permits.
9. Children, transfers, and changes
The services are not for anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect a child’s data for trader services. Data may be processed in the United States and other locations where our providers operate, using appropriate safeguards when required. Material policy changes will be posted with a new effective date and, when required, additional notice or consent.
